curious if anyone knows about this: i started watching a rimmy downunder video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-QPuhtgrAo) and at like 6m30s in he mentions SMASHING THE LIKE BUTTON - and I was watching in a window where the like buttons then highlighted in multicolours. Is that a thing you can do or is it a thing youtube is automatically doing by scrubbing the audio? It's always interesting to run across these kinds of features that nobody seems to use - like, I don't think I've seen anybody use subtitle formatting other than jokenjoestar (eg, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr4gkRdHUUI has English subtitles that change to match scenes, and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iuLXODzL04 has English UK and Arabic ones that mimic the style of the built-in Japanese subtitles while also displaying the romaji) MrQueasy posted:Loved this absolutely unhinged backdrop to a neat explanation of some number theory stuff:

Just to be clear on this, I did the entire Famicom library but because that put me at early November I decided to do a few small systems so that I could get to three straight years of daily videos. That's where the CassetteVision and Super CassetteVision come in. And that was followed up by this year's project, the Famicom Disk System. I very occasionally dip my toes into weird stuff that I find interesting or that overlap with something I'm doing, but my schedule is tight enough that I really don't have enough time to document multiple platforms at the same time.

I really wanted to like this but it fell into the "please stop doing bits / attempts at humor" category for me. I tried but I couldn't make it past the first actual game like six minutes into it. I don't like to poo poo on people (lord knows this thread gets plenty of posts like that anyway) and he's clearly popular so I'm just bummed because the topic is extremely my jam!

I don’t like it. Andor makes it better but I still think it’s kind of a bland mess with some great moments. Watching episode 1 in the theater was very interesting. I haven’t given it that much attention since I was a little kid and yeah it’s not a good movie. It looks nice for the most part but it’s visually just flat a lot of the time with Lucas’ bland shooting style. It’s not the worst Star Wars.
