one element of this is as a lot of these are at high end schools, these are kids that can afford to fight the normal bullshit charges used to intimidate protestors. the cops/prosecutors know this and as such may decline to charge a lot of them, if only to selfishly avoid doing work.

I'm sure there might be an enterprising DA or states prosecutor that learned the "right lessons" about how the government handled the j6 tourists, but otherwise the arrests already served their purpose. Actual prosecution was likely never a consideration. Besides, who are you going to complain to about violations of your 1st amendment rights from these unlawful arrests? Dutch students, like the Dutch in general, are pretty loving sedentary in protesting, but an encampment was finally started in Amsterdam and quickly attacked by Zionists and cops. They've restarted the day after and other cities are following. Pretty sure the general population are still mostly pro Israel but it's heartening to see

Haven't heard of any arrests in Canada yet though two of our shittiest Premiers (they're all lovely), Ford and Legault, have been calling on the cops to move in and remove the encampments. So far our lovely cops haven't made any moves. So far.
