Enough of them have been quitting the House to make their majority essentially unusable, so it's not a universally held tenet that this is the case, and I feel that as a proxy for how much support Trumpism as a movement is losing steam with the tightness of the margins in play this trend is pretty loving catastrophic for the party as a whole.
