Joe Rogan doesn't challenge views he disagrees with. He challenges view points someone told him was the view point. He is extremely maleable and gullible. Literally spouts poo poo Abbott has told him as if Abbott was capable of telling the truth. Fitting Abbott has two sets of double consenants given how most of Texas was chattering their teeth cause last winter. Also Coulthart needs to stop saying he has credible INFORM and passing along stories he was told. Show the INFORMATION itself and spare the commentary for the end. Show the proof then explain the chain of custody with as much proof as you can.

I apologize for the spiritual detour, but in small ways, I've tried to update this thread with my progress past depression into exploring existence. Some of what is described in the following video is familiar to me. It matches experiences I've had that are hard to explain. My depression fix is one of them, where I was able to disassociate completely and realize that my persona, my ego, is just a tool. It is not my true being, which emanates from the greater whole that we all have in common. Sufis, Buddhists, Hasidim, and many others discuss similar connections. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4LoXCl7drQ I may have posted it before without comment. If you take the time to watch, do you feel something similar, that this old mysticism has the shape of an experience of yours?

Yeah the biggest takeaway I had from that hearing is the same as UAP stuff in that "boy they're sure spending a lot of money and time looking into this thing they say doesn't exist, and a lot of people behind the scenes seem to be aware there is more to this than they're talking about publicly"

I have been remiss! I thought this dude had stopped making these CGI recreations, but actually I just haven't been checking reddit as often (because it's 95% bullshit or recycled content). So here's a big 'ol bonanza (with special guest star, one G.Nolan...). I'm at work so I've not actually watched any yet but I'm gonna spark up and have a big sesh this evening https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUasyQEm_20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Aw2saiz8hk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OigiT0t953U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwBtpQz_08Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4v6SQyTO10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IheKjoUM9pU EDIT I think I missed this one as well - the last one I remember posting was the hosed up "diamond over a lake shooting lasers downwards" one, which comes after this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQB8OcwfL10 Barry Foster has issued a correction as of 13:35 on May 9, 2024 |

Then after a few transformative experiences I read more about it and realized "yup, sounds a lot like mysticism". Since then I believe it's more like a spectrum and mysticism is a part of it like magic and other very subjective experiences. But yes I love mystic traditions, they are highly inspirational and empowering and that is always good in my book.

How did you find yourself embroiled in this topic of Sasquatch? at least hes honest about it, and it was a business decision.

There's a lot of contemporary research in psychology that shows engaging in ritual (even explicitly non-religious sorts) is immensely beneficial to well-being. I've tried incorporating that into things I do, especially with rote things like morning coffee or making tea in the afternoon. I think it helps to reclaim some mundane "gotta get caffeine in now" into a moment of appreciation for self, the people you are sharing that moment with, the artisans who created the tea or beans, the people who made the cups, etc.

there's a bigfoot discovery museum in felton ca, north of santa cruz. run by a nice cool old guy. they were having money issues a while ago and had a fundraiser so i gave them . i hope the old guy's doing ok. america's weird roadside attractions are a treasure and must be preserved.

Don't forget we heard about that bird mining technology the Chinese supposedly reverse engineered so it could just be that their mining tractor beam thing is efficient enough that they can just get what they want from a slag heap and it's a convenient pile of the needed materials right there on the surface.

I'm assuming they are masters of the atom so they could probably make whatever they want out of high-number elements pretty easily. an nrc analysis of radioactive slag shows maybe 10% of the slag on the sites they analyzed was uranium or thorium. i think there's something to this. maybe they're synthesizing unnatural/unstable elements like 118 or whatever for fuel out of radioactive slag. that would be funny if humans were created to make earth into a ufo gas station

maybe it's silly of me but i fully believe les stroud when he talks about the weird poo poo he sees/hears in the woods. been watching and admiring his output since survivorman's original run on cable and i just won't believe his interest in bigfoot is purely clout-based. he's too cheesy and authentic and has too much experience being alone in desolate places. if anyone is worth listening to when it comes to personal experiences like this it's him imo. his bigfoot series is on YT: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdteC6yMLFp1_3hGoPWt1MklFJ2x7j-Bd there's also bob gymlan whom i have a soft spot for. start with his older videos as his newer stuff is kinda scraping the dregs of whatever latest footage piques his interest. also he lost his animator recently which i feel had an effect on his output. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVPvKc3b_tjIk0qji7kSIa1RbnUEx2wQJ
