Storm is to knives as Darkseid is to other people's couches.

Every time it happens, it's both awesome and somewhat terrifying.

Me, in full earshot of someone about to knife fight my friend: "I'm worried about this dude, she's sworn to always lose knife fights I hope her opponent doesn't know that"

They're kinda riffs on the classic X-Men costumes, but with different colors.

Hell yes. Ineson is great, and especially at voiceover, which Galactus is likely to be 90% of the time.

I only really know him for the Willow TV show and kinda his minor role from the late Harry Potter movies. Interesting casting choice. He was good on Willow.

We better get classic looking Galactus, especially since they have already done Celestials before

Yea I love the late 70s/early 80 house styles for both Marvel and DC. Just very clean character models but conveys motion extremely well.

Also my go to casting or my imagination of a film Galactus would be heavily influenced by Unicron so Ralph Inneson's deep as gently caress baritone is perfect

Galactus should sound annoyed and maybe drunk. The idea of fighting a moderately disinterested existential threat seems appropriate.

Actually gently caress it, lets have some fun here's the cartoon version of the Storm Vs Callisto fight

"We can't show knives, and we can't show blood" :allears:

And then here's the full comic version

Wherein Storm will just straight up stab a bitch

The next issue then opens with this lead image

It still cracks me up that Storm becomes the Morlocks’ leader in the show, and then just fucks off for like 2 seasons and has no contact with them

Yes I know she put Callisto back in charge but it’s still funny

Speaking of X-Villains, I did have a thought.

After Magneto and Apocalypse, who is the most famous X -Men enemy? Sinister? Juggernaut? Does anybody else even come close to Mags and Apoc?

...The Avengers

edit: OK fine. I think just "Sentinels" followed by Juggernaut then Sinister probably. Hellfire club and the Brotherhood but those are fluid villain orgs.

It's some order of Magneto, Apocalypse, Mr Sinister, then you have to go down a bit to Juggs, William Stryker, Bastion, everyone associated with the Sentinel stuff, Master Mold, Sabretooth, etc
