We’ve kind of swung back around to hotels in a lot of cases. It’s just nice to have to not worry about the little stuff that sometimes doesn’t get detailed in an Airbnb listing, like what to do with trash or towels or bedding or whatever at the end of your stay. Plus Airbnb prices inflated a lot to the point that sometimes it’s not cheaper to do that versus a hotel anymore. Long term stays are nice in an Airbnb, as is renting a big ole cabin in the woods or something. If we’re doing a longer trip, like when we were in Tokyo for a couple of weeks, we split it up. We did a hotel the first couple of nights just so we had an easy start to the trip with people who could help us if we needed it upon arrival, then moved to an Airbnb for the majority, then a fancy rear end hotel for the last couple of days to feel luxurious while we ate Kit Kats in bed.

In my pursuit of playing n64 games, I'm considering buying one of those 8bitdo n64 mod kits. That goofass controller being what it is means that it's never really comfortable mapping keys to any other type of controller. Anyone got one?

if you need that 8bitdo keyboard you can get a standalone numpad. a lot of keyboard guys do that or used to do it. something like a CIDOO V21. but get something lovely to match the keyboard hehe

i like summoning salt but i thought this one was poorly paced and sometimes did not focus on the right things. most likely due to bias from his sources. the guy who broke tetris possibly forever and is on top by a wide margin to this day got about 4 minutes of time in a 2 hour video, and before that it was portrayed as a shame for a young child to receive what a grown man deserved in an attempt to tug at viewer heartstrings. some of the visual work was very cool. 6/10
