Crazy suggestion, but play with UI scaling, old timer.

Why did you get a 1440p monitor when they got 4k monitors. Then the icons will be super small.

I don't get it. More pixels equals smaller?

The higher the resolution, the smaller things get on the screen, yes.

All you computer nerd words are stupid! Remember when screens had inches? Now all they have is Ps! You're measuring screens in Ps and it's dumb! My balls can only fit 1080p. It's a great way to save money on monitors and get reasonable frame rates when raytracing.

I bought a 32" 1440 so that things stayed the same size as my old 24" 1080 (about 92 PPI according to https://www.sven.de/dpi/) When I go to 4k that means I'll need a 48" monitor. I'm gonna need a bigger desk.

Dude 1440p rules. I can actually see enemies from far away and when you watch porn you can see all those cute little golden butt hairs girls have.

I have a 1080p monitor, a 1440p monitor, and a 4k monitor. Theyre all garbage in their own unique way

Yeah, that's usually because those apps and games use their own built in scaling or UI system, or utilise legacy framework that can't be scaled. Microsoft's framework for GUIs hasn't been perfect but they've been supporting scaling on a larger scale (lol) since Windows 7 at least. I'm all for making GBS threads on Microsoft but nah, apps with lovely scaling is usually the devs themselves, not a lack of Microsoft support.

Monitors around 24" and up look bad at just 1080p because the DPI is too low for how close you sit to them.

Should have got a 1440i monitor. Or just, like, a physically bigger monitor. Mine's 1440p but also 32" and poo poo's fine.

I like my high refresh rate, but I'm too blind to care about anything above 1080p. Maybe when 4k high refresh is cheap I'll change over but for now just sticking with chunky pixels.
