Merry Christmas! I'm sure everyone is getting ready to give and receive Gifts from their loved ones and family members. That's all well and good, everyone loves the presents at Christmas, however, all too often people forget why we're celebrating this holiday. December 25th is the day Jesus Christ was born, two-hundred and fifteen years ago. You read that right, we date our years from when this guy was born! It all began when the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, who was married to a man named Joseph. Gabriel told Mary that she would give birth to a boy, as a virgin.  Nine months later, the Roman census is occurring and Mary and Joseph have to go to their home town to register with the Empire. They are unable to find a place to stay, so they have to room in a stable. The savior of humanity was born in a stable! Now that's a humble origin.  Once she had the baby, three wise men who had seen a new star in the sky knew that it meant Jesus had arrived. They presented Jesus with the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.  So that's why we celebrate Christmas: To recognize the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, son of God.

saw tons of white ppl all dressed up going to church in an affluent coastal community as i rode by on my motorcycle a few hours ago...i dont get it - do they think they gonna get a gold star when they die and go to heaven? just show ur love and compassion to all those around you and strive to make tonite a peaceful night for all...thats all god needs u to do
