Right now, the GBS Graveyard, located at the classic forumid=1, or here, has the Gas Chamber tag. But it shouldn't. Please make a good new tag for the GBS Graveyard, so old GBS and its archives can be tagged well forever.

What is gbs graveyard going to be used for? It looks like it has all of the pre-deletion threads in it currently; are admins just going to keep those there and throw in new-gbs gassed threads too?

Since thread tags are covered now, I've opted to offer up a background for the forums home. It's supposed to be transparent (hopefully the forums uploader doesn't screw with it).

Also.. is GBS back to being the "old" GBS or is it still more aligned with FYAD/BYOB/etc?

I think BYOB/FYAD's sphere of influence took Paranoia/Conspiracy and we're just a puppet of QCS at the moment.

FAU can probably explain this to you better than I can. The following post contains a lot of conjecture on my part.

From what I know, the mods planned to shutdown gbs for awhile. (Or it was atleast in the cards.) A lot of threads in QCS where directed at gbs for it's recent spike in general shitiness. GBS got hidden without warning, which understandably pissed a lot of people off. And a QCS thread was created to discuss the reasoning behind this decision. This thread broke 100 pages in a single day.

The mods wanted to revamp gbs with new rules and stricter moderation. (I don't really know if this is gonna work but I digress.)
