Yeah, so I'm not joking. I'm going to see the blacksmith today. Sadly he is not an old timey Blacksmith he's a new timey blacksmith. Part of my chipper/shredder broke and it is seriously impossible to buy replacement so it's time to see if some guy, presumably with a mustache, can forge me new part. Am I excited? Yes, yes I am. Why? Because, I don't know it's cool or whatever. Have you ever gone to the blacksmith? What did they make you? Did they have a mustachio? - imagine I posted a picture of a blacksmith here that I added bling to at Blingee.com Home of the Blingee but it turns out when you look for pictures of blacksmiths it's all fat guys in aprons. Surely that can't be right? -

I have indeed visited a blacksmith! He taught me how to mig weld! Lovely fella, he's an artist and specialises in wrought iron gates and sculptures made from wrought iron. Definitely in it for the love and not the money (like all artists). I will definitely go back when I can because I want to actually learn some smithing.

You can visit me I'm a hipster blacksmith, I can't actually make or repair or anything, but I have period-appropriate accessories which I wear ironically and with a knowing look

It's supposed to look kind of like this: The problem is that it looks something like this: It's the thing that pulls the brush into the blades but I need it to be tempered since it is sharpened on the one side.

If there’s one thing a burly mustachioed man is good at it’s “forging” some good hard “steel”, if you catch my drift.

But gently caress if I'm gonna pay to get a whole new loving chipper/shredder. This one was free, drat it.

It's either a 'centre' or 'center' cutter blade, or a 'v blade' and search your make/model for specifics, op. They're like 20-40 before shipping, depending, looks like.
