Well, it happened. Kenny Omega, fresh off of winning the AEW World Championship, is showing up tonight in Impact Wrestling. Why is he there? What does he want? What does Don Callis have to do with it? We’ll find out....tonight! On a Tuesday! In addition, Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee take on Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary in tournament action, Josh Alexander wrestles Chris Sabin, Brian Myers and TJP have a match, and Cody Deaner looks to not be destroyed by Eric Young. Oh, and AEW Dark is airing on YouTube an hour before Impact starts.

Apparently Tony Khan is also appearing, which technically doesn’t break his promise (was it a promise? I don’t remember) not to appear onscreen in AEW in a meaningful way.

I just love the idea that wrestling exists in an extended universe. WWE has always made itself this walled garden, but AEW happens in the same world as New Japan and Impact and AAA and even Beyond and GCW. And that's a strength.

I predict several developmental AEW talent will get traded for Impact’s stars. Miro, Ricky Starks, Sammy Guevara, and Wardlow for Crazzy Steve, Tommy Dreamer, RVD, and Ken Shamrock could be the shot in the arm that AEW needs
