this my mouse Penny today i bought her this big rear end new home.  yeah i know i need to vaccum. thats bedding from the new home. so shut it. haha. anyway, so she is super little. she's a babby, really. the house is sold as a "rat house" well anyway long story short after i put her in it, she started climbing it haha. it was so friggin cute. i'll try and take a pic of that later. but she climbed all the way to the top and just... squeezed out the top gap and onto the roof. like a boss. a girl boss. a girl mouse boss. but also like, whoah. so i put tape around the gaps she could squeeze out. so that's fine but then i realized, she's not trying to escape per se. she's just looking for the entracnes and exits so she knows where other things might come in  but i also realize,d, if she wants to escape, what literally what authority do i have to say, no, you must stay? obviously none. all i can do is, you know, try to make her as comfy as possible so she doesn't want to run away

considered going ham again but my last pet was a ham, and the mouse was more cute also, i like how active mice are. they explore and do fun stuff. once hams settle in they just sleep 20 hours a day.
