  Untitled Goose Mafia It is a lovely morning in the village, and you are a... normal duck, part of the flock that roams the village and swims in the duck pond. Except. There have been a series of incidents of mischief in the village! Flock members have been framed for this incidents, then tossed out of the village by the people who live there. You are forced to conclude that hidden among your peaceful ducks... are a group of horrible geese. (gasp!) Basics There will be 15 players, and 4 hidden horrible geese (mafia members). There are no other roles. The game will be coordinated over my Discord server. Please join if you wish to sign up or observe. Days and Nights Days will be 48 hours long, starting and ending at the stroke of midnight Pacific Daylight Time. Voting is on a plurality basis: there is no hammer, but at the end of the day, whoever has the most votes is expelled from the flock (lunched). This will also reveal whether they are a duck or a horrible goose. (In the event of a tie, a coin flip will decide who is expelled. If no one votes at all, nothing happens.) There is no night phase, and the next day will begin immediately; horrible geese should have their choice of who to frame for mischief (NK) submitted well before the deadline. If no horrible goose submits anything, or the geese agree not to frame anyone, there will be no NK that day. Once only 7 players remain, days will become only 24 hours long. There will be an announcement in the thread when this happens. Mafia Rules 1. Do not quote, screencap, etc. any messages received privately, until the game is over. This includes private channels, DMs, etc. 2. Don't edit your posts in gameplay channels, or the thread. 3. Please refrain from changing your vote within 5 minutes of day end. 4. If you are out of the game, don't talk in the thread, or any gameplay channel other than the observer channel. 5. Activity guarantee: You must post a minimum of three meaningful posts in a game day. A meaningful post contributes to the discussion or gameplay in some way, including explanations, reads, analysis, etc. As a rule of thumb, if you've written a paragraph of text, it probably counts.
