Eh, it has the same gameplay. Would you just call it a "runner" then? The point is that you only have one input (jump), and your dude is always running in one direction so you can only avoid obstacles through timing.

My last post is not entirely accurate. If you define the genre as "games with one button input," there is one game that I like: Nanaca Crash. I was a beast in that game in 04ish.

Autorunner would be more accurate. Endless implies randomly or procedurally generated levels with no real end goal.

iOS needs some Nanaca Crash-likes, imo. I mean, I guess abstractly Peggle is a Crash-like, but you know what I mean. Gimme the weird physics skinner boxes.

The short version of the Sony press conference is as follows:

The PS4 Slim is going to be the new standard model. It launches September 15, and will cost 300 dollars.

The PS4 Pro is the official name for their beefier PS4. It has more power. It launches November 10 and will cost 400 dollars. It will be better for doing PS VR stuff.

There was a lot of wankery over technical specs but it's not really relevant unless you have the right kind of TV, capable of 4k displays and HDR.

The funny thing from the opposite end is Microsoft has been bragging about their ultra special color mode they had to release a new console for, while Sony is just adding it to all PS4s old and new with a firmware update.

They're not even putting in some N3DS style QOL features that take advantage of the beefier processor, it's all 4k wankery for people with 5 digit home AV setups, and it won't even play 4k blu rays?
