A photo is floating around that purports a new Gorkamorka release later this year. It was probably just a stockist speculating what the SG release would be and it's almost certainly supposed to be AT, but man what I would kill for a good new Gorkamorka.

Doesn't mean that the "bad at business" part isn't annoying. Like, what other developer is so desperately clinging to paper rules? Warlord Games at least has the excuse of historical miniatures being made basically everywhere, and they don't gently caress up nearly as often.

I don't know how they'll support it, but part of it will likely be that its release will overlap/be close to the release of the 40k Ork Codex in December, and that line needs a massive overhaul

Gorkamorka just being a book that works with the new wave of ork releases is probably a sensible bet, so they won't do that.  I doubt they'll put something out unless it can be a box with terrain. Surely they'll have to expand SG if this is coming.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did Gorkamorka but it was just a rulebook and a box of 40k models, like the Gangs of Comorragh box. Especially since the part of the 40k Ork range most in need of new models is the vehicles.

Whether a team is under FW or not doesn't seem to matter, the shadespire releases have been amazing in every way. If anything the main lines need to take a lesson from how much value you can fit into a $30 box like the shadespire warbands.
