My experience with ferrets tells me that those styrofoam balls have likely also made it into the ferrets mouth. This results in vertical ferret poop structures. Sorry dude I meant to reply to this earlier; There are a lot of animal sanctuaries in South Africa that rely heavily on volunteers paying to be there, and that's also what I did. However a lot of these places are more focused on turning a profit than actually benefiting the wildlife, so it can be tricky to find a good place. A few good rules of thumbs;
