Part of me just wants a “chikara where are they now” article - I constantly see guys like Ophidian or Tursas and wonder what happened to them

Then he was going to do an indie show sometime later and various former Chikara people stood up and said they didn't want anything to do with that company if they were using Ophidian. This was extra disappointing to me as a friend of mine went to the Wrestle Factory for several classes and said Ophidian was easily the nicest and most supportive trainer in her experience. As for Tursas, I know he went on to become a nurse, but that was well over a decade ago, so who knows what he's up to now.

From what I know: - D'Lo worked for Impact as a producer until 2022 and is now (AFAIK) out of the business. He apparently has an accounting degree so it's possible he got a job in that field. - Ron Simmons has been on a legends deal with WWE since 2006. - Charles Wright's last match was in 2020, appearing only sporadically after 2014. He now runs a strip club in Las Vegas.

Chuck Taylor™'s CHIKARA roster pic is an all time great Stokely Face. I was lucky enough to be at the show in Chicago where Stokely/CHUCK TAYLOR was tagging with Chuck Taylor/DUSTIN and they were wearing matching sweaters all night. It led to some funny dumb bits where Chuck kept trying to take the sweater off and Stoke yelled at him over the mic to keep it on.
