lmao this has to be satire Sagebrush posted:why does anyone care if a game stops being exclusive? people get mad about it because their either a brand defender (xbox/pc/nintendo players shouldn't get to play these games because they belong to playstation or something) or are upset they spent money on x system when they already had y system that the game is now coming to. it's very stupid i bought a ps5 literally for ff16 while knowing it would eventually get a pc release, and i'm going to buy the pc version too when it comes out

And then there's a whole YouTube grifter ecosystem built around preying on this kind of fanboy manchild, just like there's toxic grifter ecosystems built around every flavor of poorly socialized male.

if a game is exclusive to my platform, then the team spent all their time making it work great for me, and didn’t waste any time making it work for those other losers, so I get a better experience

I think tsushima has the best weather effects of any game I’ve played, it really enhanced the experience imo. I had a couple narrative problems with the story mongolian party and horse #1 but yeah definitely best of the breed. kinda reminds me of how uncharted took the third person cover shooter and with good design and writing made it really memorable

About halfway through Old World Blues and I kinda wish the "seriousness" of Honest Hearts had been mixed in a bit more, but James Urbaniak, Sunil Malhotra and Cam Clarke are just so good at voice acting that I can forgive how silly/low stakes the story is and enjoy the mad science antics. I don't remember why I never played through the DLC before. Try as I might, I can't help but side with the NCR again... I just can't bring myself to support slavery or libertarian bullshit.
