Also, that was absolutely Black Canary's fault, she shouldn't be so surprised. I didn't know who the hell Dodger was until I Googled him thirty seconds ago, but I thought she meant condoms too.

What are they so shocked about? Oh yeah. I guess they are surprised that she and this Dodger-fellow are intimate. Who's that woman anyway?

Not going to lie, but the dolphin having to scab change for the phone because the shark from Heavy Metal damaged the radio in his armour is one of my favourite things in comics ever. I actually bought the series as a spotty teenager, but traded it for some other comics I don't remember.

I've been working my way through Peter David's X-Factor after enjoying his recent work on Maestro and New Fantastic Four, and it's just great. I've seen some of these panels posted before and I know there's a well-liked bit coming up with Quicksilver at the therapist, but it's been consistently solid and amusing from issue #1. The "genetically challenged" stuff hasn't aged well, but otherwise I'm very much enjoying it. Chinston Wurchill fucked around with this message at 16:16 on Aug 16, 2022 |
