I just burned through 75 chips on the slot machine in TTV, and got about 20 bux per chip, roughly? I don't know if that's good or bad or normal, but hooray bux I guess. I like that bux, coins, and chips are all (at least for now) equally valuable to me but in different ways.

Presumably the bux-generation rate averages to 15 per chip over the long run, for all three game types, although I swear perfect blackjack pays better than that in my experience (but maybe that's confirmation bias).

I personally have had some rotten god damned luck on Blackjack. Poker does best for me. While I'll get a bunch of nothing to low hands, every once in a while I'll get that full house, straight or flush and man that's alot of bux.

In TTV, I am unable to spend money to get things? When I try to do it, I get told "Purchase failed". In Options, when I tap "Restore Purchase" as a sanity check, the dialog that pops up says [Environment: Sandbox] in it.

Am I sending my password to Nimblebit's servers instead of Apple's? :ohdear:

Sounds like you're logged into an IAP test account (are you a developer?) or you might have some jailbreak issues?

My phone isn't jailbroken, and I wasn't part of the beta build. I am a developer, and the phone is in developer mode, but I've never actually put any of my own apps on it yet (I haven't actually purchased a Developer Account; I just have the free one). I *do* have an enterprise (I think) provisioning profile on there from my work, as we have some in-house apps that we distribute locally. I've never messed with any IAP stuff in development, though.

It's odd; I haven't seen this problem before, although I also can't remember the last time I tried buying an IAP. I reserve it for things like Nimblebit games ;)

Should be able to log out of your App Store account in device settings and re-login with your known non-sandbox account, might help? I dunno.

Also a tip for the new players, taking riders to a fully stocked casino floor ALWAYS results in a chip tip, so keep those casino floors stocked!

I don't have a sandbox account, that's the weird thing? I did try logging out and back in, and it didn't help.

I do recall, now, purchasing no-ads in Bungle! on July 13th, and I haven't touched any of the developer settings or store settings since then. Should I put in a support ticket somewhere? (I really have no idea how to move forward in resolving this)

You can download new apps from the store no problem? If you can't make a purchase I wouldn't think you could do much of anything else on the device.

Within the past two months, I've purchased apps and IAP on the device (I literally just bought an app while writing this as a test); TTV is the first time I've seen this message or had any sort of problem.

Has someone figured out the formula for how much it costs to have the Bellhop stock everything? Or is it just the total cost in coins + 3 bux per floor?

Can you only see their Dream Job after you've placed them at the correct floor? My bitizen's dream jobs are all ???

Also did I really spend 1000 bucks for a cosmetic elevator change? I assumed the different elevators had different base speeds like in previous Tiny Tower games (yes it says "change look". Shut up.)

You did indeed! At the top of that screen there is an "Upgrade" button to upgrade the elevator speed.

Quick question on the level of floors, is it always more economical to upgrade floors? Or is there a break point?

At this point I've been slowly upgrading all of my floors to level 6, and I'm down to only a few hotel floors that aren't level 6 yet.

I think my strategy has centered on upgrading hotel rooms to max early-on (prior to having 20ish floors). They provide big (relative to level) cash infusions and you can mix a couple of VIPs (Bookers and Check-Outers) and missions (check-in 3) to push a lot of cash through without waiting.

After 20 floors, the relative value of the hotel rooms go down vs. what's required for a new floor. Then I'd concentrate on upgrading all the casino and regular floors and ignore the hotel rooms.

It depends on which one you have. Clicking on them will tell you. There are VIPs to instantly check out or refill your suite, a VIP to instantly restock a floor, a VIP to shave off build time. I haven't encountered a VIP that sells all your stock yet but I'm assuming he exists since he was in the original TT.

Depends on what type of VIP it is.

Stock floor - Brown - instantly refill all three items in a floor completely. Can only be used on non-hotel floors.
Construction - Orange - Removes 3 hours from the timer for a new floor under construction. Can only be used on under construction floors.
Bookers - Dark Blue - Fills all three spots on a hotel floor. Can only be used when a hotel floor has at least 1 empty spot and only on hotel floors.
Check-outers - White(?) - Instantly gives rewards for all individuals currently occupying one hotel floor. Can only be used on hotel floors and when a hotel floor has someone in it.

Ninja Smasher! is really fun. Flipping all over the place and stabbing monsters in a Metroidvania is good. Anyone else playing it? I'm stuck at the Evernight Graveyard, and I hit some switch and I don't know what it did, and I can't figure out what the hell to do next. Everything is blocked by the brown blocks that I can't destroy yet. I've wandered for an hour all over the map and I'm clearly missing something. loving love/hate exploring games.

Yes. It's really fun. It's not very challenging except for the exploring part, but if you've ever dreamt about flipping and flying all over the place killing thousands of ghosts and weird jumping things from 80s platformers and other ninjas while wandering around collecting superpowers and ninja tools that you somehow forgot at home and then using those to find other superpowers and ninja tools while killing things even better this is a pretty good game.

I figured out what was wrong at Evernight Graveyard, you have to go all the way back to the place where the two shops are right next to each other, to a two level vertical hallway and go through the bottom left door. It looks like somewhere you've already explored but there's a door that you can get to now, and it has the tool to blow up blocks in it.. Huzzah!

TTV: So I noticed that delivering a guy to a fully-stocked casino floor gives a chip, and to a hotel floor it reduces the timer by 1 minute (or any floor with a timer).

Now I kinda feel like I should re-roll and leave my tower at two floors: casino and hotel. That way every elevator trip gives either a chip, or speeds up the lucrative hotel guest (not that I would need coins anyway).

Hell, maybe I shouldn't even bother with the hotel...
