In non-KT news, I bought an Alpha Table. It’s fairly shiny on the outside but feels pretty solid. Even though I enjoyed my MDF-picture table overlay, more often than not the dining room table would end up holding the overlay for days due to either laziness or the necessity of it being a two-person lift. With the PortaTable all my ham stuff will stay in the ham room /office.

You had to spend a promethium cache to use them and the terminators also gave one up to your opponent if they died. The squad itself was all scouts. Oh duh, I forgot about that. I played Shadow War for a total of 1 game, haha.

I wonder if Breachers will be a separate option, or if Pulse Blasters will be a separate weapon for Fire Warriors, or if they'll just ignore it entirely. This is an excellent opportunity for me to figure out what to do with the rest of my spare Pathfinders, though. Time to figure out how many Rail Rifles it's legal to take in Kill Team.

Do we have a release date for Killteam other than July 21st for preorders? And...Is anyone else excited about doing RPG-esq campaigns for Narrative play? Like I also want the chance to RP as my killteam as well as play with them against the enemies of the Imperium.

I just spilled my brand new Tamiya Extra Thin plastic cement all over my work surface. Luckily, the only things that got wet were some metal tools and the plastic top of my Citadel project box, which I was using as a work surface. I’ve since hosed everything down with warm water and am now ventilating the room. That was easily half the bottle. loving gently caress. On the upside, the upturned plastic top from the project box did make for a nice containment zone. The segmented surface easily contained all the glue, stopping it from reaching the vulnerable plastic miniatures I was assembling.

I wonder if there will be a KT mission in the original style from back in 3rd/4th ed where you had a KT against a larger number of mooks. I've never played it myself but it does sound like a good alternative to operators operating against each other.

Kind of disappointed that neither Sisters nor Custodes are in the initial Kill Team launch, but went ahead with my spear and shield custodes - first time trying to paint power weapon, proper jewels and doing shading on capes. Still some touching up to do.
