3 v 3 PVP only Trials was great. Especially in D1 where the numbers meant that with enough tries, you could go to the Lighthouse with a good story to back it up. D2's 4v4 "modes" Trials on some of the maps was just a hellscape, especially since there was barely any variety in the guns in the early days. Come to think of it, I can't think of the last time I played Emperor's Respite.

Yeah they made it so that Control on Emperor's Respite can't happen. I see ER -Countdown in Comp a lot, but I don't know if Survival and Clash ever show up on that map.

If you solo and don't give a poo poo about winning you'll be fine, but if you actually want to win and also queue solo it's torture.

Trials numbers dropped every week because that's the math behind a mode where you really only get the benefits if you go flawless, which means you need unbalanced matchmaking for any reasonable amount of people to go on 7 game winstreaks regularly.
