The really poo poo thing about that is DDP is obviously doing this for all the right reasons but he might as well be hitting his head against a brick wall. As great as he is his positive energy is no match for addiction. Jake is a sick man and DDP is not qualified to truly help him, he's just going to bang himself up trying. I hope that's the last video we ever see about this.

Whenever I see Jake Roberts doing this kind of stuff I always wonder how much of it is a work. I don't discout his real life addictions issues or DDP's sincerity, but aren't there rumours that his Beyond The Mat segments are highly worked? The segment starts with Vince punishing the Stooges because he's a spiteful crazy person, and somehow ends with Kane and Austin attacking the Undertaker inside a flaming cage as Raw goes off the air.

This is super goddamn tragic and all but I laughed pretty hard when DDP went HEY DOUCHEBAG. I dunno. I can't say a whole lot else about it. This disease will kill him, and there's nothing that anyone can do about it besides Jake.
