There's a line that forms based on the heat working through the metal from outside to in and it kind of looks like an indent.

Roundabouts are literally just "give way to cars coming from the right" (or left, depending which side of the road you drive on). They're an extremely simple and efficient way of dealing with intersections and it makes me laugh when people get all flustered at the idea of them.

If you drive on the right you go around anticlockwise and give way to cars coming from your left.
