I don't know how well I'll adapt to 200CC. I just don't believe in using the break. But, I'm starting to believe that use of the break is mandatory to not fly off the road.

Thanks for the tips that you can break while power sliding; I would have never thought of that.

I really love my "muscle memory" for the 150CC. Do I want to risk wrecking that? Time will tell...

This is pretty much how I feel. I'm kinda curious to see if 200cc will become the new de-facto mode for online play, or if it will stay as a fun diversion and 150cc will still be the "real" mode.

I'm not against going through and re-learning how to do all the tracks on 200cc, but I don't want to lose my finely toned 150cc mojo.

200cc is the most amazing, terrifying thing. It turns the game into Sonic-style boosting stages except with random obstacles and items coming at you from everywhere and it's glorious :unsmigghh:

Using a star while on 200ccs taps you into the speed force and sends you forward in time to meet your own grandkids.

What an alltogether different experience this game is at 200cc.

Shaped like a friend

The ramp thing is true. Every time I see one at the end of a excitebike loop or in the animal crossing village I have to make a effort to avoid it because if I go near it I die. I don't crash, my character dies.

Just finished a prix with a few friends and we ended on Neo Bowser City. I don't want to go back after seeing the terror of 200cc

Also I used a golden mushroom on SNES rainbow road and lived to tell the tale.

my god the whole presentation of Big Blue blew my mind. The music, intro/final lap/outro tunes, and most of the race design (at 200cc of course) just reawakened this entire game to me. MK8 is right back on top of my active playing list again. 200cc in generally is just ridiculous fun, think I'm getting the feel for it already and when it clicks it is drat intense.

My favorite part of 200cc is how much easier making a comeback from the back of the pack is. You can quickly go from 9th to 2nd or 1st without a lot of lucky item spins now, or at least I think that's happening.

200CC is interesting in that it totally fucks with whatever line you've previously been using.

Shortcuts are now open that once required mushrooms - and some ramp shortcuts fling you off to oblivion just because they can.

The only 200cc thing that requires unlocking is Grand Prix. Time trials, local VS, and online all have 200cc ready and waiting.

When I first downloaded the patch I went right to time trials to test out 200cc alone and was pretty surprised to realize it has no cc options.

Tried out 200cc for a bit before I had to leave for class and good god, this is so much fun. Mushroom Cup wasn't that bad, but I was definitely drifting into walls more than I normally do. So excited to get back to this later today and play the DLC.
