This should be really easy. U2, Creed, Nickelback or something like that, used to play all the time in the radio, sounds like "yeah-eh, [...] and wait for tomorrow (and I say, and I say...)" What the hell am I thinking of?

Looking for a song, pretty sure it's by Jay Z or at least featuring him. He's on the chorus, but I don't remember the specific words. What's distinctive about the chorus is after Jay Z says something, he mimics the sound of a machine gun. I guess the closest you could spell it is "brrddaaaat brrddaaaat".

This is a real shot in the dark but does anyone happen to know an artist or group that combines insanely fast reggaeish vocals with high tempo beats? I heard someone voicespam this while playing on Xbox Live couple of days ago and found it quite hilarious. Is there a subgenre for this kind of stuff?

It's probably raggacore / breakcore, if this sounds like what you heard I'd start looking up tracks by Shitmat, Kid606, Bong-Ra and Enduser first. If the beats weren't this fast and glitched up sounding it might have just been old school ragga jungle or dancehall which is what the raggacore vocals are sampled from.

I think it was something similar to the stuff you've posted. I found this which sound closest but the vocals aren't near as fast as in the stuff I heard. It sounded like it was sung without any artificial speed up which made it mesmerizing.

Hip hop question-- looking for a song but all I can remember is the music video. It starts off in a small convenience store in a city, and the camera is first person as the guy gets one of those 25cent juices from the freezer and then pays for it. A beat is playing on the radio in the store and as soon as he leaves it transitions to being the beat for the song. I don't think the artist was/is well known. It's only a few years old though.

Okay, I need some serious help, this has been in my head for weeks and I can't figure out what it is. I recorded a short thing of how the verses sound, all I can really remember is the bass line and the tempo of the percussion. I'm not sure who the band is, I thought it might have been Does It Offend You Yeah or Klaxons or something like that, but I couldn't find any songs of theirs that were what I was looking for. Please help!!! http://tindeck.com/listen/olzs

Ok so there's this song that I really like, It's an older acid house track. I've got it in the middle of a couple of Cari Lekebusch live sets. It's got a sampled refrain that goes something like "Baby what you see, it must not be me. Be a bitch for the night as long as I'm free." Normally I'm pretty good at being able to track this sort of thing down myself, but I've had 0 luck. I don't want to get into trouble for (if I could find it on youtube or whatever I'd probably not have to ask) so I'll just say it can be found @ around the 16:40 mark in the 'Cari Lekebusch vs Adam Beyer at Liberty One (23 - 08-2002)' set I have.

Okay! Time to try this song again. This is the chorus from an uptempo, folksy Celtic sounding song. The voice was female (think Loreena McKennitt but faster) and there might have been "away" somewhere in the refrain. I don't remember any of the words, but it's as least as old as 2006.

Alexander Kowalski - Hot Spot (Girls Outside the Window) It might be one of the remixes, or just the vocals of this song played on top of an older acid house track. Good taste by the way! I don't think I've ever heard a bad record from Kanzleramt.

New quest for people who know a lot about music: It is a very chilled song, and all I remember is a female voice singing all along (maybe all alone). This is very little to work with, but as far as I remember, there is not that much vocal in the song besides above mentioned.

I found a song on Youtube and was hoping to find more by the same artist. All of the names given in the video and description seem to be incorrect however, and I'm beginning to wonder if the song name is even correct. I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me, but it's been bothering me all day so I have to try. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8hUhw_M18w#!q=ghost%20waltz I've search extensively for songs called Ghost Waltz, always get the same few, none of which are this one. I've searched the name Fats Kaplin that appears on the page, but while he's done a song called Ghost Waltz, it sounds completely different to this one, judging by a sample of it I found. The name Bill Higgins Burke in the description gives nothing on google, I don't know who it's supposed to be. At the end of the video it says "by J-Young" but he appears to be a rapper who, as far as I can tell from google, has never done a song sounding anything like this one, nor a song called Ghost Waltz. The whole thing is kinda baffling, really. Also, does anyone know what genre this song would fall under? I'd like to search for more similar music regardless of whether or not I find the artist of this song, but I wouldn't know where to start looking.
