I forgot how awful it is getting a taxi at 4am on NYE so I ended up walking home 50 minutes through the countryside despite it being 3C. Fortunately on the train back from the city Downcast had auto-downloaded the newest episode and I was laughing so much at goose stepping and Einstein I barely noticed the cold.

It was the last thing they read in the episode. The dude they were reading goes on and on about how the Gamestop he's applying to is "disproportionately female" and won't hire him even though he obviously knows more about video games than those females they're only not hiring him because he's a man. I recently picked up a PS4 and was doing some basic reading on well-reviewed games from the past two years and whatnot and holy poo poo I didn't realize the stupid #GG thing was that drat ubiquitous across all sites and boards and whatnot. I think it took three clicks to go from a reputable review site to something worse than stormfront. I assumed it was an insanely-vocal super-minority but I guess it's an hyper-insanely-vocal sorta-minority?
