If they pull nonsense, list everything out, complain a bunch about fees, and see what you can get knocked off. If you're happy with them, say you are happy with them, but you have a problem with your card and you think it's ridiculous that you have to pay a fee. Banks especially make money off of people feeling too awkward to complain a little, and they will squeeze you for it.

If you stay on the line with customer support long enough and keep moving up the ranks eventually you'll get to someone who has the power to shut you up by giving you what you want.

My parents being Colombian we had the doors at home locked at all hours even when in the house. It was always strange to me when I went a friend's house and their place was completely unlocked. Once in college my room mate had a some kid over to work on a class project. My roommate (is it joined or not? Spellcheck doesn't say) had to go to class and I left a bit aftewards, but the kid wanted to stay longer and work on a project. I didn't like the idea but my roommate said it would be fine so I tell the kid that I've locked the door just make sure to shut it after he left (we almost always kept the door open when in the room as it would get stuffy fast). Naturally he didn't shut it, so my friends, who lived down the hall, stole my computer to teach me a lesson that I didn't need to be taught. I was pretty annoyed but also really relieved when I found out it was just my friends that took it. They also kindly shut the door after they had done so. It's why I never liked studying in the university library, having to go anywhere else was such a hassle because I was never comfortable actually leaving my computer unless I was with someone I trusted. Same reason I don't own a bike in Paris, as much as I'd like to, because I'd hate to have it stolen. So I use the public bikes which is an ok trade-off. Wallet-talk: I always keep things in the same pockets. Phone in the left and wallet/keys in the right. I use my back pockets for loose change or ticket stubs (left/right respectively). I hope I'm not the only on with such dumb regular habits. My partner thinks I've way too many habits, but I wouldn't mind changing them but it's just easier not to do so.
