One recent thing that frustrates me about this game is the fracturing of the player base in regards to those with dlc and those without. Clearly I'm not expecting access to endgame activities for base-game players (although the weekend where everyone could play Gambit shows that Bungie are willing to give them taste), but trying to do things like Nightfalls and with a recent change it appears also Legacy Strikes aren't counting towards daily/weekly milestones for me when done with a RL friend who only has the basegame. I know there can be discussions made about balancing levels / difficulty but when the only thing we can do in a fireteam that benefits us both (other than the fun of it) is Crucible (where we are both effectively blueberries) and Flash Points (though not this week since it's on Mars, or when it's on Mercury/Tangled Shore) it does limit things as we're working towards Powerful gear.

Forsaken is $100 worth of game for thirty bucks Black Armory is $10 of game for $10 Vanilla Destiny is free, and rightfully so. Nothing to complain about here. Pay the man if you want to experience some great new stuff

But since my friends only play 1-2 hours of it a week (and even that's dependent on there being a lull in other game releases/updates to distract them) I can hardly expect them to pay just so we can do some Strikes/Nightfalls once a fortnight.

Without Forsaken you get like one Powerful engram milestone per week. Just Legendary from Cru, strikes, etc. The only other option for Powerfuls are from IB bounties because leveling up to 300 or 380 maximum by playing IB is something you totally want to do

Finally did a Nightfall strike by using the guided games system. They don't seem hard with 3 people, even when no one was using team chat, but when I tried to do one on my own previously I ran into an inability to put out enough damage to make progress against a boss. It takes ~ half an hour to queue up, though. Has Bungie ever explained why you can't just matchmake normally for Nightfall?

The idea is that you have to coordinate roles and specializations (especially when match game is on) and the challenge is sufficiently high that it’s actually important to call out stuff like an enemy flanking your teammate or when it’s safe to rez. That requires voice chat or at least more assurance that your squad isn’t made of idiots. And yeah you’ll want everyone to have input on, or at least knowledge of, the card.

After some Comp this season I've concluded that I still prefer Waffle Lupi over Mask for Titan. Far more consistent. Less expected. Like a sidearm. "He doesn't have overshield and is hurt! Get his rear end!" Also, Mountaintop is the tits for stopping any shotgun rusher. It's gonna be so good after the buff next patch. If you've been nuking people with Militias spike grenades you're gonna love it. Even if the dude lives just switch to Lunas/Last Dance and end his misery.

But its good that its underrated, im hoping it gets a cast time reduction for barricade
