Ok. On a lark I got Pokemon Crystal Clear.
For anybody else who has played it I have a question: Is anything stopping me from immediately going to Mt. Silver and hucking pokeballs at level 40 pokemon until I get lucky? is there some kind of failsafe for that kind of thing? Do you need badges to control your pokes in this game?

I don't even want to do this. I just need to know if I can.
