Hey so somebody figured out how to decrypt FMW2's .dat files! I messed around with it and found out that there's still issues with re-encrypting, but if this guy is willing to put in the effort to get everything perfect then I can probably start a translation project. So that's a thing.

it's a goddamn travesty that "Hakurei Reimu" isn't on the IAU's list of "fictional travelers to the underworld" for naming terrain features on pluto, not to mention that the "underworld beings" list contains NO subterranean animism characters

New Forbidden Scrollery! Touhouwiki Online Reader In which Mamizou is a considerate smoker and Kosuzu freaks herself out. Guest starring Sanae, who looks kind of derpy. Things have gotten more complicated on the production side of things. Ah, how we yearn for the simple days of yore. Clarste fucked around with this message at 22:45 on Apr 4, 2015 |

Man, I really dig Harukawa's art-style. I'd even go so far as to say her talent's kinda wasted on drawing for a Touhou manga. Also, it kinda weirds me out when FS references current real-world disasters. It just sets a really weird mood for the rest of the chapter, at least for me.

Eh considering how a shitton of manga settings are the same cliche high school, the Touhou old japanese village doesn't look like it's underusing her skills. And considering the huge contrast between Wild and Horned Hermit and Forbidden Scrollery, I feel like she has a lot of creative freedom to add her own spin. Which a lot of times sounds even dorkier than WHH so idk, I mean, her pen-name is MOE and I don't think she would be exactly working on avant-garde historical manga about Alexander the Great if she could.

Well, what I meant is I'm curious what kinda manga she'd draw when she's doing your own thing. Aki Eda's Bonnouji ended up pretty cool from what I read, after all. Which reminds me, I really oughta finish Bonnouji one of these days. Also I was kinda under the impression that Moe was her actual name, but I guess it makes more sense as a pen name, I can never really tell with Japanese names either way. Anyway, one of the reasons I picked that page because the art in it didn't scream moe style to me.
