I like to think in the year 2015 that considering anything with chili and freetos on it is good is far from surprising. Ok I worded that weirdly but I think I got my point across.

So, hamburgers. Lately I have been putting Soy Sauce on my burgers as I cook them and they come out amazing, so much so that eating one without soy sauce tastes bland. Have I discovered some secret to making burgers? Have I ruined everything forever?

Soy sauce and beef work GREAT together. Check the ingredients for Worcestershire sauce sometime. It's an English fish/soy sauce for what it's worth and makes beef shine. Salt and umami + beef = A Tasty Burger! Minarchist fucked around with this message at 06:29 on Jul 13, 2015 |

Soy sauce ends up in everything.

Eggs just own period. BLT? Throw a sunny side egg up on that. BAM, WAY BETTER! Salad? Shredded boiled egg can make that better too. Steak and eggs? Classic. Baked avocado Ever had a breakfast styled baked potato? Pulled pork over grits with black beans. A meal on its own. Throw an egg on it and it is fit for a god.

Have I discovered some secret to making burgers? Have I ruined everything forever? Soy sauce is salt and umami if you believe in umami which you should. Basically soy is doing the same thing for your mouth that bacon does. And mushrooms, and tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce. It also adds a dash of bitter, which is the secret for many recipes. Soy sauce is my secret ingredient that makes people emanate porno noises for my pasta and pizza sauce. Also MSG. It's hilarious to serve my pasta sauce to someone who's "allergic" to MSG. Not only are the tomatoes and mushrooms full of it, but I actually add MSG (Accent). So all the bases are covered. (put MSG in your burger meat)
