He's injecting the fuel into the exhaust directly. If it were mixture you'd see the black smoke/soot coming out. It's possible the exhaust gas is hot enough to ignite the fuel, or he could be running a wasted spark ignition, or he's just got a second set of spark plugs stuck in the exhaust. None of this is new, hot rods have been shooting flames for 3/4 of a century. edit: It's half stalling because he has the idle set super low to get those big flames. Notice when he turns on the flames at a normal idle they're smaller, because the fuel is blown away and dispersed. oxbrain fucked around with this message at 21:42 on Apr 4, 2010 |

That right there is probably a propane setup, sitting inside the lil bed out back. A spark setup in the zoomies probably wouldn't shoot flames that high, but it may.

It's either running a secondary fuel line to dump extra fuel in the pipes, or a propane setup. Besides, those are zoomies, he'd need 8 plugs. Most people run plugs in dual exhaust. Zoomies would be a bit excessive.
