Yeah, that's my point. Even if he was a while ago, Kamlen is the only character we've seen her interested in in that way. Not saying it couldn't be someone else we do know, but it feels unlikely. And remember, when she was in the hospital, Zimmy saw Kamlen in Annie's mind. Not sure how long after that was after she met him, but clearly he still left an impression.

Yeah, based on her reaction I'd peg it on one of the older authority figures in her life like Donny, Anja, Eglamore or Jones. Someone you can 'safely' have a crush on because its never really going to be a real thing, but would be mortifying to say out loud. That or she has heard the siren call of Vegeta and his hair what goes UP!

I don't think her crush is anyone who's come up before because they all HAVE come up before and she's never gotten this embarrassed. She was even asked directly about Kamlen by his girlfriend and only blushed a little bit. Plus that was a while ago so this is probably something more recent.

It gives us everything we need to understand the entire worldview of dogs in a way that is poignant and does not contradict reality. The puppy with the messed up legs is considered "not good" by the other puppies and is abandoned. There is no malice in it. They don't hate the not-good puppy, they probably love it in there way. That's just dogs. It can't keep up so why bother wasting resources on it. The not-good puppy probably agrees. Then Paz comes along and gets all human showing love with compassion and empathy. The not-good puppy is planning to swim across the ocean to where Paz lives. The other puppies realize that they underestimated the not-good good puppy and that it was a good puppy all along, maybe the best. I'm not sure why they don't show the puppy at the court after it successfully swam across the ocean.
