please do not host things on discord, they have stopped letting people keep stuff up for more than a couple days now so that is going to poof into nothing soon. this has become kind of a problem on SA lately because people think discord is free hosting. which is a shame, because despite not know what the gently caress it is, it is very entertaining. I am guessing some sort of soap opera "last time on" episode preview but with the characters replaced with dogs

Generally speaking if you touch amphibians 1) make sure your hands are clean, including of soap beforehand so you dont hurt them and 2) when they start to feel 'sticky' as in you're having some resistance drawing your hand away from them it's time to leave them alone so they can get their slime back. They absorb many things through their skin so they are very sensitive to toxins and drying out. And as a large one you would want to make sure it seemed fine with you touching it to prevent any harm to either of you. Oh and wash your hands thoroughly after petting or handling. You dont want to get their slime in your mouth, eyes, etc. even if it's not toxic to you (and some are) it may still cause irritation. Happy amphibian friend handling! Just maybe handle sparingly for their sake.

One of my friends with the same breed has a dog that just had a litter of 7 and we were all genuinely a little worried that they'd all be healthy with that many (they are). But it turns out big dogs make lots of little dogs
