Not TOO spoilery, I hope, but nah stable time loops are generally pretty straightforward. It's a narrative thing as well as a plot thing (i.e a Stable timeloop has to make sense, or it's not stable.) Well, no more confusing than time travel in general.

If I remember correctly, there's a conversation between her and Porrim in MeenahQuest part 3 which says that, despite all the buildup and mystery, coming back from the dead as a glowing bloodsucker is completely normal behaviour for jadebloods. It felt more novel when she was actually learning, but now she got a LITERAL reset, so... I liked her, but the character arc is really played out at this point. Maybe she'll have actually changed when 8r8k is over.

I have been rereading all of Homestuck in random gobbets (because self-mutilation is fun, that's why) and I definitely think that the Mayor is going to have a critical role to play in the endgame, or the mid-end-game, or something like that. It's fine if he's just a throwaway character whom everybody loves, but I think there's more to him than that: the kids are so much more obsessed with him than with any of the other carapacians. Even evil!Jade regrets eviling all over the Mayor.

It shouldn't be the point of Vriska's. Her character arc really has just gone off the rails and it definitely has a lot to do with her being Hussie's pet favorite.
