Didn't ever really get an answer on what it means to not be noticed when you eat it, but hell a bunch of dumb assholes got smashed into jelly by a dimensional warping plant so I had a good time.

And that's comic book time for ya. Can definitely see why nearly every adaptation simplifies the origin in some ways, though something to be said for how it's about a cycle of revenge.

forming 104-109 last time: cain came sprinting across the sea. also the lizardman was allowed to take the gem from the weird argyes-brain at the behest of the adversary, and rhea finally got ghob's attention        ghob is probably the most expressive character so far. admittedly he's not got a big mask on all the time, or the head of an ancient dogonian grafted to his own

I read the story and the upcoming part doesn't smack of christianity > other religions at least. I don't ever get that feel from the comic in it's run, but I think the author ended the comic becaue of her christian conversion, she could no longer write in good faith about a future without christianity and where all the main characters are pagans or atheists.

SSSS does have narrative closure, right, versus a quick wrap-up or even abandonment? I've been enjoying it enough this time around that I don't want to read about the ending to find out and spoil the plot, but it'd be disappointing if it just sputters to a halt.

All the main stories end and wrap up yeah. But it still left me feeling unfullfilled. So much more stuff in that world that one could've gone on to, so much potential... It was a very interesting world.
