I think so. Main thing is idk if the aliens die when the beam collapses early or if they still get downloaded or just the first few or what. Same thing with the school investigation, the longer you wait the easier it is for the aliens to spread out. Hopefully we get a gently caress ton of cash from the dole cause if we can't out tech the aliens yet maybe we can just throw money at interceptors. If we could get a drat tank in the right spot we could down these things more effectively.
