you can actually inflate your scrote pretty safely with sterile saline, syringes, needles, and aseptic technique. its a niche kink iirc

the saline just slowly gets absorbed into your blood but in the meantime you got a big round smooth distended nutsack

it isnt really clear cut book to season in part because books 4 and 5 cover the same span of time, just with different sets of characters

I would say Lost competes with GoT for cultural drop off. It was all anyone was talking about for years, then suddenly everyone was mad at it, and then I've never thought of it again until this thread now.

I remember being unable to escape people hyping up Heroes in it's first season.

Then the rest of the show happened and it vanished from pop culture

I still remember that hurricane Katrina montage during that teen super hero's introduction in season 2 of heroes as being one of the lowest points in television that I've ever seen in a serial tv drama. It was that crescendo that made me stop investing time in a television series until it ended and it was considered good.

I'm not seeing anything on this either. I'd swear that I read that he was a decent dude though. Apparently he's been up to a lot of non acting poo poo tho like apparently he founded the game studio that made outer wilds

Congratulations, but the Cybertruck doesn't "move." It's so powerful that it actually moves the Earth itself while it stays right where it's at

i do that too, but i will watch a first season of something good and leave it as that, i’m happy enough to imagine how the show progresses without actually enduring the inevitable step change in quality from season to season

Lost?

But yeah, GoT literally became unwatchable around like season 5 or 6 for me. I mean literally unwatchable, I got a couple episodes into whichever season it was where they decided they didn't need to light any scenes and just gave up. Hannibal did that too.

Lmfao I remember that. The episodes were so goddamn dark

GoT started to suck when enough characters got killed off that plot armor became necessary to progress the story. There was zero tension when Arya got gut stabbed 50 times and fell into a canal full of sewage because of course some rando amateur surgeon could totally fix that.

We had this discussion in another thread and turns out it's because the show creators are using $30,000 reference monitors when editing scenes and ignoring LED and OLED lighting standards for boradcast.

The unit for brightness in LED monitors is called a nit. You are never supposed to go below 5 nit in a scene, but a lot of GoT and House of the Dragon scenes went right down to 1 nit which look terrible on consumer grade equipment, but fine on super expensive high quality reference monitors.

Then there is the compression algorithms used for streaming. The one used in the US handles low light better than the ones used everywhere else. Why everywhere else uses an algorithm that can't handle extreme low light? No loving clue, they just do.
