Isn't there the normal healing cycle and the one that heals long term injuries? I think you have to research that one?

You need to do the bioregeneration cycle, not the medic cycle. It is unlocked by an extra research and costs 2 glitterworld medicine.

Found out two interesting things about Anomaly yesterday: 1. Cult Chanters can be solved by just calling in some void monsters to deal with them. Gorehulks vs Chanters with me lobbing mortars was a fun little encounter. 2. Enslaved Cult Chanters are stupidly low maintenance. Between Bliss lobotomy and Inhumanization they are basically meat robots.

Jack Trades posted:Quest: Take care of this prisoner for 7 days (prisoner has a lethal disease that will kill it in 5 days) a top priority now with Anomaly is to break open an ancient cryptosleep room so you have a few sleep pods ready to go for when you get a really awesome clone with a medical problem you can't readily fix (crumbling mind e.g.) but then you also have some ready for this kind of thing

Good question, there’s narrative justification for going either way, though I think if it’s limited to mundane prosthetics and chrome it should be called something more specific.

Assuming the negative thought provided by the limb don't go away with body modder I don't think the positive will outweigh it even at max fleshmass bits.

The latest patch that rebalanced anomaly with normal events did something to when advanced anomalies show up. I'm getting revenants on year 2 with 4 dudes in the colony. Edit: Without attuning the monolith, mind you

Revenants aren't (or weren't, maybe less so if they're not flammable) an especially difficult anomaly IMO. I think metalhorrors are harder and they're one you can get from a bunch of things. They're quite structured in how they work, though you do ideally want some way of detecting them.

And metalhorrors are actually an event, the "source" is basically just flavour that the game picks when it triggers.

Oh sure, they aren't a pushover, but in terms of anomaly threats they're probably one of my preferred ones. The game thinks so too, I think, they are a bit easier to contain than metalhorrors.

Well then. The victim would've become 114 years old. Apparently it counts as executing a prisoner. Yikes, it's double-dipping for -30 mood on the ritual target.

Very cool that your colonists won't put out fires in geothermal reactors and you are just forced to watch it burn down until it is destroyed Did they also change something to make batteries explode more violently for no reason? Also why the gently caress can't you multi-select poo poo anymore if there's more than one thing going on at the tile? Why does it have to select like one or two other items and multi-select them as well? I can't loving select a bunch of slag chunks by double-clicking anymore, I have to select every single one. This game is arguably much worse than the last time I played it.

More stored power means bigger explosions. Not sure why your pawns wouldn't try to put out a fire on a geothermal unless they were physically blocked from accessing it somehow.
