I mean it's a nice thing from the talent perspective but WWE can do all the equal rights photo shoots they want and it still doesn't change the deals they've been making lately and it all comes off as so disingenuous

I have no doubt some individuals in WWE mean what they're saying. But the fact that its all one corporate photoshoot does kind of take the teeth out of it. WWE spends an afternoon having a dozen talents pose for a pr campaign while continuing to take money from the government that beheads people for being gay and giving money to the government that strips away LGBTQ rights. I'm critical of Dana Warrior specifically because of all her own history. The rest are just about WWE, not them.

those tweets probably help some really young people who don't really get how lovely wwe is yet. and make some people mad. and those people who get mad deserve to be spittin' mad instead of happy, for certain. that's about all the good i can thank of. perhaps corps trying to appeal to lgbt people and "allies" is a good sign in some way, as gross and pathetic as the corps themselves are

well, would it be better if they were honest and asked talent to make tweets about hatred and greed. all the good people in wwe would possibly breach contracts or band together and demand real changes instead of getting to sit around pretending they are doing good things. i don't know.
