Thor Ragnarok was a legitimately very good/funny movie -Taika Waititi saved Thor as a standalone franchise since the first two were bad and after this virus hellscape is over I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with Thor: Love and Thunder

Between Ragnarock and What We Do In The Shadows he's become one of my favorite directors very quickly. He's had other good movies too but those two were top shelf.

It was by far the only MCU movie I loved in it's entirety. The scene where thor jumps on the crowd of zombie dudes on the bridge was the closest any of these movies has come to making a comic book scene come to life.

the whole wu-tang collection is tight.

And First Blood is probably the greatest action movie of the era. I'm kinda ambivalent toward's Stallone's Rocky work but this rambo movie is a loving ride. This was the height of the homeless and indigent demonization era, so crazy vet pantses a rinkum dinkum police station wasn't that wild of a notion. But Stallone goes ham, leans all the way into the lost guy looking for something vibe. Its closer to Taxi Driver than Predator(which is absolutely goofy fun).

Oh yes, she's undoubtedly very bougie. There's a great line on her Wikipedia page, "The Swinton family is an ancient Anglo-Scots family that can trace its lineage to the Middle Ages...The family is one of only three British families (along with the Ardens and the Berkeleys) that can trace their unbroken land ownership and lineage to before the Norman Conquest." She went to the same school as Princess Diana, Tilda is proper upper class, but she's a class traitor in the best sense, a posho who wants to bring the system down.

That first season of Rome was so close to being the perfect season of a TV show. Amazing cast acting through great material. Karl Johnson as Cato was such a delightfully easy character to hate.

I have this same gripe. 4 is good on its own terms as a superhero game but not what I loved about the previous entries.

I think I like Saints Row 3 and IV about the same, since they are so different from each other and allow for a different experience. If I want to drive around a city just causing normal crime chaos, it's time for 3. If I want just flat-out insanity, time to fly around in IV and shoot people with the Dubstep Gun. Wish I could say 'I like 3 better because it is closer to what Saints Row 2 was', but I could never get Saints Row 2 to run smoothly on any PC so far. And really, with all the Remakes and Remasters on the market these days, I'm sad that no one has decided to remake Saints Row 2 yet. Sure would have been a better choice than Agents of Mayhem.

I have decided to measure my mental wellness on any given day by 'sutures'. I have 10 of them keeping me held together. 10 is a good day. A day that rarely happens.
I am at zero loving sutures right now. But beyond this statement I will not make it your problem.

I will however recommend Pathfinder: Kingmaker to anybody who likes isometric RPGs and isn't anti real time with pause.
