This might be a recent change but I had no problem with Schwab transfers. I was able to trade with the full amount next business days. I finally transferred my gambling account from Robinhood and the order execution feels like night and day especially options. I'm so mad at myself for staying with them so long out of pure laziness.

Using Robinhood now, considering getting the hell out to TD Ameritrade. I'm spoiled with RH Instant, i.e. using unsettled funds ain't no thang. I understand a TDAM margin account is similar. When I use RH Instant I don't pay anything to trade with unsettled funds. Will I have to pay margin interest for certain days if I use unsettled funds to buy in TDAM? For example I have $15k in my account, I buy $9k of SPY, then sell $10k of SPY, then want to buy $15k of a different symbol on the same day. e: For those complaining about RH being a pile of crap (which it is), can you give an example of how Schwab / etrade whatever gives you better fills for longs or options? in the UK at least the financial year ticked over yesterday so rich people might be dumping their £20k annual ISA allowance into a market that's on sale, that's the only explanation I have started to close some stupid otm insurance calls for april, rip the puts though. Schwab likes money, and does not like fun. If PDT rules are a serious hindrance to you, seriously don’t trade options. Or day trade! That being said, TD is a far better choice for stupid trades over loving Etrade. And it’s better than Schwab in basically every way. I have been trading on Schwab for long enough that their software is familiar to me so I’m hosed. I do not like trading from my phone and their app is such poo poo for trading from a phone. You can close positions easily but buying options is a loving nightmare, much less being able to parse out how much you’re up/down on your options at a glance since it defaults to showing you day change for the security itself and not on your position. Why are futures up 3%? We are starting to get close to where the calls I've been holding like an idiot will make my whole account go up. jk the underlying on the calls are only up .5-1% and WYNN is raking me over the coals Someone explain the bull case for WYNN at these prices. Macao is still only locals, yeah? And they have to have piles of debt from the Boston location.

Don’t fight the tape but everybody is having severe cash flow problems and I really doubt there’s anything resembling a V. 10 trillion is a drop in the bucket if the economy’s not back to something like normal by June 1. I’m planning on going short bigly when spot VIX hits the mid 20s. What’s fair value on SPY if the div rate in 2 months is $4 because that would be my optimistic base case.

I feel like a lot of this has to be people thinking this is the time to hop back in the market and ride it up. Wondering if we're going to see the same extent of gains as we saw yesterday as people panic about getting in 'too late'. In addition to the $SPY 4/13 and 4/27 265 calls, I have 2 $SPY 5/01 200 puts that I'm not getting rid of quite yet, agreeing with a previous poster that this is far from over.
