I'm sure they're others I'm not thinking of but I don't think it inherently has to be a young person thing.

My take on Kanye is that the people surrounding him have failed to get him the assistance that he plainly needs. That sucks, because he's a rare talent that's being squandered on weird projects and religious freakouts. Him being outside of the realm of consequences and limitations has severely hurt the music he produces. Being one of the dozen or so artists on the planet who are able to pull off his release dramas hurts the music. If he had a normal release date, and a normal promotion cycle it'd be less of a rollercoaster for everyone. He doesn't really do "normal" though. We all want to get off Mr. West's wild ride.
