Ok I need to know what you're going to be cooking in that cauldron. It is amazing and I am jealous.

Either a brunswick stew or a gumbo since I know a guy with a shrimp farm. We're planning on holding a small cast iron and southern food festival this summer as a fundraiser for the local makerspace. We'll probably have 100-150 people to feed.

$300 and a half tank of gas, not bad for the size and condition it's in. The 10-20 gallon sizes usually go for $250-$350, larger ones run in the $400-$500 range. If you can't find one locally, add on $50-$100 in shipping.

Is it normal to have shelled shrimps in your boil? I've never seen that before.

But even the best reusable cups aren't as good at letting it keep that pressure, so you get mediocre coffee even with fresh ground good beans.

Tamping your grounds into the reusable cup helps, as does using a slightly finer grind than drip. But yeah, seems the best a keurig is capable of is coffee on the good side of mediocre. I'd rather just use my french press.

I've never done it with shrimp shelled beforehand either... I've also never done it with crab legs. Sometimes blue crab steamed on the side...

Yeah, that's just the first picture I found on Google. Shrimp stays in the shell, and crab legs are a must (seriously good in there if you've never had it that way). We do 2 42 quart stock pots every year at the beach and devour it.

Depends on what state you're in. Here in SC crawfish are hard to come by so traditional lowcountry boil doesn't have them. Just shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes.

Yeah, we do it in Myrtle Beach so no Crawfish.

I bought this Moleskine, their professional notebook for project planning. I really like the page layout. It was also 50% off at Target.

I've heard tell people are trying to introduce crawfish in private ponds/lakes for commercial farming here, which I would loving love.

I gotta get the Moleskine Monthly planner in advance for 2016. The soft cover extra-large turned out to be a bitch to find, they didn't even have it on the Moleskine site. So I ended up with the "action planner" which isn't quite what I wanted and is hardcover. I just want to have the same one every year.
