I started reading a lot more when I got a kindle but a while ago I decided to stop using Amazon products so I guess I'll have to wait til another company invents an e-reader that isn't dumb looking. E-readers have probably progressed the slowest of all recently invented tech. They all still look like phones from 2010. And they're still in monochrome.

E-readers got better pixel density in that time and that’s the only improvement I needed. My mind went here and now you must share it with me: “Dream of the Fisherman” Platystemon has a new favorite as of 14:05 on Dec 15, 2019 |

e: that kaiju alignment chart has me dying. I think personally my opinion falls on origin neutral, scale rebel or neutral. Clover and King King def count as kaiju e2: maybe origin rebel as well since I don't think they NEED to be a threat

I’ve been reading a lot more since I got a Kindle app for my phone. It’s really easy to just pull an entire library out when on the train or on a road trip without needing to pack multiple books every time I leave the state.

You can buy books from whatever service you like so long as it allows you to download the files, then use Calibre to convert them to the Kindle format. It's not hard to find add-ons for calibre that strip the DRM off ebooks.
