The Dead Orbit vendor has a pretty solid PVE scout rifle again. I don't know that it necessarily beats Hung Jury overall, but it's definitely not bad.

That splicer key farm doesn't work very well right now because everyone is doing it. Loaded in 10 times and every time there's either no enemies there or I get there just as someone else gets the kill and makes off with the key.

Blue engrams decrypt at 340 max, but you get 2 already decrypted blues at the end of heroic strikes that will come in a couple points higher than your current light. The other best way for getting stuff past 350 is rank up packages.

I havent had a problem needing keys. Typically have 2 to 3 just from toolin around and if I need one i will typically find one quick. With that being said i fuckin soloed that siva tank in site 6 to start the gjally quest and fell down the pit before scanning the anomaly. Had to go to orbit.

Well that's odd, get home, fire up game, no new unlocks and vendors have old 280 gear. Get confused, waste time confirming I pre-ordered, and after about five minutes of sitting in orbit get the big RoI banner and everything unlocks.  Guess if you don't buy RoI you ain't getting anything new at all.

So I only played destinys base game. I kinda feel like getting into it again. I'm also feeling a little poor this month and I note that the taken king plus the first 2 DLCs are only £15 all in. So my question then is - Does this new expansion add a lot of stuff that would impact my run through expack 1 and 2 and Taken King, or can I happily just grab ROI at the end of them?

The fact that two of the three strikes are literally just strikes from Year 1 with hilariously minimal changes really grinds my gears. That plus recycled armor models in all the vendors. At least we get new weapon models, I guess.
