Sacrificial Offering is a loving cool Rite of War, especially when you roll kill points for the mission type.

Malcadors are, indeed, superheavies that aren't actual Lords of War and go into squadrons.

I legitimately think the custodes stuff looks cool as poo poo, but I wouldn't want to play them because they're Too Loyal.

Will be back at work before the replacement turns up so this is all I got done on my newly started Death Guard force. Will be playing a bunch of ZM and then expending out too 2-3k points probably running sacrificial ROW for out flanking fun, will be running lots of Cortus dreads, Praevion with some robots, Leviathan and some other goodies if I can fit it all in. Always tickles me when I discover that some of the best stuff to turn up in the /tg thread is done by folks from here.

Played my second game of 30k tonight, took the Pride of the Legion rite of war and a pair each of Terminators and Contemptors in a 1000 point game, led by a Terminator Praetor. 13 models for the 13th company I played against Emperor's Children, he had a couple tac squads, a small bike squad, Eidolon and some Palatine Blades, and a tactical support squad with plasma. The first turn was rough, as his plasma killed 3 dudes from one of my Terminator squads, and I only killed one dude back with all my shooting. My dual claw/plasma blaster Contemptor got into assault with the Palatine Blades and totally punked Eidolon and his dumb Skrillex haircut, and then my other Contemptor (a Cortus, for points reasons) got up in the grill of the support squad and tied them up too. His bikes charged my Praetor and killed his Terminator buddies but got chainfisted by him, and my surviving Cataphractii got stuck in with his tactical squad. We called it on turn 3, as I had killed everything in his army that could damage my Contemptors, and my Terminators were chewing through his tacs like nobody's business. A couple folks came over to watch the game, and we had pizza and beer. Was a good time, although I feel kinda bad about totally destroying this dude two games in a row.

Then just drown it all in sepia wash to taste and a gentle drybrush of pallid wych flesh. Weathering is just a dabbing of rhinox hide with an old cut back tatty brush and then high lighting the bigger brown areas with silver to give the scratches effect. Will link a step by step with pics when my replacement airbrush arrives on my next batch of you want ?

Thanks man! The eyes are pretty easy: Basecoat Khorne Red, translucent layer of bright orange, translucent layer of white, douse with Bloodletter Glaze.

Like idk I would've used Eidolon to punk your Praetor b/c EC are all about that poo poo. I just use a generic Praetor with SS's and poo poo for murdering other characters. Also shameful non use of IIIrd Company Elite RoW (the best RoW)

No fuckin' poo poo specialist games has been successful GW. A third of the industry spawned out of you shoving them so far up your rear end your cheeks bulged. And now that you've taken the stick back out people are still willing to credit you some of the goodwill and cool poo poo you used to do. Congrats. Don't gently caress it up.

Would you like him enough to drop $60USD on him? Because that's what I'm facing in good ol' New Zealand. I was considering getting him to run him as a warp smith in that obliterator formation, right up until I learned the price. Is it a comparable price to what he's sold for in places that are not oceania?
