Sisters and Custodes look great, but the Dorks' rites of war don't allow allies so I'm not planning on any. A lack of friends is also thematic. :reject:

Will be back at work before the replacement turns up so this is all I got done on my newly started Death Guard force. Will be playing a bunch of ZM and then expending out too 2-3k points probably running sacrificial ROW for out flanking fun, will be running lots of Cortus dreads, Praevion with some robots, Leviathan and some other goodies if I can fit it all in.

Always tickles me when I discover that some of the best stuff to turn up in the /tg thread is done by folks from here.

Played my second game of 30k tonight, took the Pride of the Legion rite of war and a pair each of Terminators and Contemptors in a 1000 point game, led by a Terminator Praetor. 13 models for the 13th company :agesilaus:

I played against Emperor's Children, he had a couple tac squads, a small bike squad, Eidolon and some Palatine Blades, and a tactical support squad with plasma. The first turn was rough, as his plasma killed 3 dudes from one of my Terminator squads, and I only killed one dude back with all my shooting. My dual claw/plasma blaster Contemptor got into assault with the Palatine Blades and totally punked Eidolon and his dumb Skrillex haircut, and then my other Contemptor (a Cortus, for points reasons) got up in the grill of the support squad and tied them up too. His bikes charged my Praetor and killed his Terminator buddies but got chainfisted by him, and my surviving Cataphractii got stuck in with his tactical squad. We called it on turn 3, as I had killed everything in his army that could damage my Contemptors, and my Terminators were chewing through his tacs like nobody's business. A couple folks came over to watch the game, and we had pizza and beer. Was a good time, although I feel kinda bad about totally destroying this dude two games in a row.

Base coating with an airbrush, brown primary coat then a strong grey zenith highlight followed by a pure white zenith highlight. Then just drown it all in sepia wash to taste and a gentle drybrush of pallid wych flesh. Weathering is just a dabbing of rhinox hide with an old cut back tatty brush and then high lighting the bigger brown areas with silver to give the scratches effect. Will link a step by step with pics when my replacement airbrush arrives on my next batch of you want ?

I think Palantine Blades are cool but they are infantry murderers.

Like idk I would've used Eidolon to punk your Praetor b/c EC are all about that poo poo. I just use a generic Praetor with SS's and poo poo for murdering other characters. Also shameful non use of IIIrd Company Elite RoW (the best RoW)

- New Custodes was described as the razorback equivilant ( makes you think how big the spartan version will be) with capacity of 5 Custodes.

- Jetbikes will be a thing for Custodes but wont be based on dong bikes.

- A Custodes Flyer may be a thing.

- Custodes Contemptor is halfway between regular contemptor and leviathan yes it is a lascannon on the spear, and also comes with either a stormbolter or twin-linked flamer on the wrist.

-FW admitted they neglected some book 2 and 3 legions model wise Siege Tyrants are in the works and the moritat model should be available by the HH weekender.

-Specialist games has been more successful than GW imagined.

-Titanicus pushed back to Q2 or Q3 to allow for all the basic titans to be released at once

If you paint hazard stripes on a model it becomes an Iron Warrior; why would you need separate sculpts?
