The only really 'bad' armour is Draug, and that's only because he's been outmuscled by his competition.

I'm so glad Ares is in the 4* pool. Once I get enough of him, it will be so nice to go "ok i have no idea what to give you, have a brazen". A healer's best friend! Please spend the next sevearl banners introducing more 4* brazens, intsys.

I won't say no to more extra survivability once in the range, or attack. Also they'll be common unlike the other big defensive skills and will contribute more than the stat up skills.

I actually do have a secondary armour team for AA with Armor March that's made for player phase: VLyn, Arden, Hector and Burger King. Did another pull for Bride!Tharja and got Luke. I hate his ugly face, does he do anything good or is he a junk 5*? For this TT I've been using a pretty effective team of Vector, Ishtar, Sanaki and Azura. Might swap out Vector with Groom Marth when he's leveled up but otherwise i can usually get through till the 7th round before having to switch to the backup (Fallen!Celica, Olivia, Cav!Eirika, and Micaiah.)

 Tried to snipe Ninian (so of course there's no Blues), ended up with another Sanaki. First one is +Atk/-Spd, second one is +Spd/-Def. I'm puzzled as to who is eating the other: +Atk is never a bad thing, but that jump from 23 > 30 Spd might save me a lot of double-related headaches from the mages she's supposed to fight off. What do?

Both of those IVs are good, actually. The +spd one is especially handy of you go the route of Windsweep + Phantom Speed seal to help her safely nuke DC units.

Thanks for the input, guys. Sorry New Sanaki, but it's a loli-eat-loli world. While Windsweeping to dick over DC monsters sounds fun, I don't think Sanaki would be engaging on anything she couldn't already kill in one hit, which is what F!Grima is for. Watersweep versus ranged is also not practical because she'd get demolished by all the speedy Blues/Greys, and it's pointless against Reds/Greens because they're not getting through Sanaki's buffed Res without being on some loving drugs.

imo I would've gone with +spd/-atk and just built TA + Red Tomebreaker for one of those budget specialists you probably won't ever use again after this tempest trials

After getting caught up on almost half a year's worth of story and paralogues and getting a good bit into the current TT (which I'm happy to see appears to be mini- the new standard?) I can no longer deny that I'm actually playing Heroes again, at least a bit. I never bothered with blessings and the only two legendary heroes I have are Fjorm and Ike. I don't really have a clear idea of what the gardens are or anything. What are the important takeaways? I noticed that Fir can get nameless blade now. I've got her up to +7 5*  I've got a fair number of new 5*'s that I haven't bothered leveling or anything. Off the current banner I got bridal Ninian, +HP -Res. Seems really good with my normal armor set up with the guidance seal on. Aside from that though, I've got these new ones- Lene (crap ivs, cant remember what) Zelgius (+ATK, -RES)- seems broke Luke Ares Tana I kinda want to try for bridal Tharja too edit: Oh yeah, the point. I'm sure there's been a lot of powercreep since december. Generally speaking, what's changed, and what's worth paying attention too? I guess the arena is a loving nightmare by now.

Uh... also Hector+ and some other decent armors I can't remember. Valentine's Eliwood was notable for having the highest BST yet, but his stat distributions were bad so he's bad overall.

Yeah I don't think 2018 has had that much general powercreep. A bunch of the trash from launch has gotten weapons that make them competitive but the ceiling is still around where it was in December I think.

The Tempest trials are now always mini length, with all of the bonus units giving 40% to the score, and everyone gets the bonus stats for the first two runs, not just bonus units. They changed the name to Tempest Trials+ to make it clear that these changes are permanent. The gardens are just normal Story or Paralogue maps that require every member of your party to have a blessing. You get enough blessings from doing the maps that you don't need a legendary hero of that type. The point of them is just to get the rewards from them.

I'd have to roll two Bridal Sanakis to pull this off verbatim, but the result would be glorious: -Sanaki gives +6 Atk/+7 Spd just by existing. -F!Grima partnering with her would give her 59 Atk and 50 Spd; doubling her would require a lot of dedication without Bold Fighter. -If I roll a B!Sanaki for Atk/Res Bond, then vanilla Sanaki can reach a disgusting 67 Atk and 46 Res. Fury is a budget option if I miss out (though QR will need to be replaced with Vantage in that case). -If I roll another B!Sanaki and give Def/Res Link to F!Grima, her defenses would become 45/36 on EP; DD3 as a seal is optional to turn it into 51/43 versus ranged. i spent all my carefully saved 340+ orbs on the old bride banner and got wife cordelia + 4 (+SPD/-ATK) another faye another minerva (with better ivs than my old one) another katarina to make mine +1 4 hinatas some more felicias and freds to continue those projects perfect IV Gwendolyn because I guess I'll 5* her now perfect IV 4* roy who will stay forever unpromoted because roy is not my boy what i did not get: charlotte more selenas to finish project selena anyone with repo
