Kearney is the best wing option at the minute, Ireland look really flat from 1-15 though. Sexton hasn't looked good yet, there are a hell of a lot of question marks out there today. At least the scrum has been good?

Scrum has been good, pushed England off their own ball at one point but that's about as good as it's been for Ireland. Losing Murray is probably telling as well.

The good news for Ireland is that they are only 9 points down The bad news is that they have been outplayed 1 to 15 by more than a 9 point margin

Aside from the kick for the second try, England are ahead because they have made much less errors. Despite all the play they haven't created tonnes of clear cut chances either. WC opponents won't be so forgiving

These new TMO protocols are great. I like the Madigan option at the end of the game, I thought this was going to be a drubbing earlier on a 5 point loss away to the hosts isn't as worrying as some of the performances. Hopefully the big players like Sexton and the back rows were holding a bit back today.

Ireland should be relatively happy with that result after the way they failed to participate in the opening half hour.
